The place is close to Downtown, but the bed is a second‑tier one; I’d ask for a lower‑tier bed if I could change anything.

Cache House in Jackson offers adults‑only rooms with air‑conditioning, tiled floors, and shared bathrooms, praised for comfort. The hostel features free WiFi, bicycles, an Italian restaurant, lounge, 24‑hour front desk, coffee shop, full‑day security, bike and luggage storage, and ski storage. It sits a 6‑minute walk from Grand Teton National Park, 14 km from Jackson Hole airport, and near the Center for the Arts and an ice‑skating rink.

We booked a single room for two adults, only to find the office managing the space with no signage saying “cache house”; instead we were told it was a 20‑person bunk room in a windowless basement, so we didn’t stay.

The staff in the cozy lobby were incredibly friendly and helpful, but the bathrooms could use shelves or wall hooks for clothes and shower items, and the long, narrow stairs and entrance lack a luggage sliding ramp, making it hard to carry suitcases.

Overall, a good stay: the modern design suits a cubby/bunk setup, the location is convenient to the Tetons and right in town’s center, staff were helpful, and free coffee starts at 7 am. The tiny lot tied to the hostel means street parking is required, but we never had to drive far. It isn’t a traditional hostel, so there’s no kitchen or fridge area. The sleeping area had dimmed overhead lights overnight, so bring an eye mask if you’re light‑sensitive, as the curtain doesn’t block all light. The bunk got warm even with the personal fan, so a slightly cooler room would be better.

The hostel sits just one block from Town Square, and I loved that each bed has its own private bathroom—a rarity for a hostel. There’s a roomy ledge atop the bed for personal items, water bottles, power plugs, a small table fan, and dimmable lighting. However, with the privacy curtains drawn, the bunk bed felt very hot even though the room outside was cool.
