The property was stunning, authentic, and set in a peaceful, quiet spot. Breakfast was delightful and the chef was very friendly. The staff were all welcoming. We chose it because there were no crowds nearby, just a brief drive to Khorfakken. However, the AC was extremely loud and woke my partner and me several times in the evening, which spoiled the quietness of the area and was frustrating. The price for two nights felt very steep, giving you little for the money (though the heritage of the place adds value), and it seemed pricey for just a room. A kayaking voucher for the nearby dam might have helped offset the cost a bit.
