The reception was always open with friendly, young staff, the breakfast was very varied, always tidy and restocked, and the breakfast area is close to the Vertici restaurant, very airy with several seating options between tables, sofa beds, and snack tables. You can see the building is new because everything is nice, and the rooms are truly very elegant and well furnished. I dined at the Vertici restaurant, which also serves as a bar after dinner; the atmosphere is very airy with multiple seating options for dinner. I must say the dinner was excellent and presented very well with the plating of the orders. I didn’t find anything out of place.

“Always our first choice when we stay in Rome”

We love CARDO; the facilities are great, there’s plenty of space, and the interiors are truly inspiring. Nothing else to add.

“Great quiet hotel perfect for a getaway.”

The location isn’t central Rome, but they offer a free shuttle bus from morning until 8:30 pm that brings you closer to the monuments. The rooms are quiet, the gym is amazing, and the hotel looks beautiful. Breakfast could have been included, and because it’s away from the city centre, food options are limited if you eat there. It’s still a work in progress since the grand reopening in September 2024, and the pool could use a relining.

“We’re there for a wedding and the staff were amazing”

Everything was great, but it turned out to be farther from the centre than I expected. The free transport wasn’t available unless you booked it at 8 am the morning of.
