The location was great, but even with a “do not disturb” sign every morning, someone still entered and made our beds.

The continental breakfast was tasty and abundant, especially the baked muffins, and staying in a converted church offered plenty of sights; the modern bathroom was a real plus. Finding someone to bring ice was a bit of a hassle, so we bought it at a local mart instead.

My husband and I adored our stay and plan to return on our next visit to the Cape; the quiet setting, the on‑site restaurant, and the casual spot run by the innkeeper a few doors away were all hits. The room felt cozy and romantic, making it ideal for couples. The property is unique, well managed, and we enjoyed chatting with the innkeeper over coffee at breakfast—10/10. There was nothing we didn’t like.
