The location is perfect. The wardrobe still contained the previous guest’s dirty laundry, showing the cleaning was not thorough, and the bed urgently needed a new mattress.

The place sits in a perfect spot right on the water, which is hard to beat, but it’s odd that a 5‑star property doesn’t provide a fridge.

Breakfast was very appealing and overall good; we were satisfied with everything, and the Hafenmeisterei location was perfect for us, though the beds were a bit worn and the pillows were unusually firm.

Everything was fine; I’d definitely come back.

We were satisfied overall, but there was a hiccup with the room booking; they offered an alternative immediately and smoothly, and the weather was a factor.
