It was a cosy, comfortable haven—exactly what I needed while visiting friends. The attention to detail was amazing; nothing was missing for a fabulous stay in Harrogate. Parking my car right next to the property was a big plus. Nothing else to complain about.

The room was comfy enough for a single night. The location was decent, just a 20 minute walk to the centre, and a few nice pubs are down into town. Parking is available on the front of the house, but it’s shared with the owner. I was confused because there was no mention that it was an annexe; you walk straight in and the bed is there. The shower needs some attention, and the double doors on the sealant are a bit problematic.

Located just a short but very interesting stroll across the Stray from the town centre, this garage conversion was first‑class. Everything about the accommodation was welcoming, clean and comfortable. The kitchen area was supremely well stocked; the bed was a haven; there was more than enough space to work; and the bathroom was faultless. I met the hosts briefly and they were the epitome of charm and courtesy. I enjoyed the decor. The only flaw was the lighting: the big light dimmer set on low and the lamp created too much contrast; a middle setting would have been ideal.
