I loved this place. It was a two‑storey mini apartment with a great living area and a well‑equipped kitchen. The bathroom was lovely, and the washing machine was very handy. The bedrooms were comfortable. The location was great, just a 5‑minute walk to Kyoto Station. The steep stairs meant I couldn’t bring luggage upstairs, which is common in Japan.

Staying in Kyoto’s traditional machiya was a good experience, but we’re used to a king bed at home, so the two single beds were not to our liking.

We had plenty of room for three adults, the neighborhood was quiet and close to public transportation, and we appreciated having a washing machine. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioner worked really well, but between the corner light—something we finally figured out how to turn off—and the skylight in the upper room, it was hard to stay asleep, especially in the morning.

Nowoczesny apartament, wygodny i ładnie urządzony. Dobrze wyposażony. Blisko stacji kolejowej i autobusów. Trochę wąska i stromą klatka schodowa w środku. Mało miejsca na rozłożenie dużych walizek
