The caravan felt old and out of date, with no heating and torn sofas. The breakfast bowl was moldy, so I had to take it out of the cupboard. When I tried to make tea, I discovered there was no gas, so I couldn’t do anything until the office opened the next morning. It was freezing at night, and I didn’t want to risk leaving a gas fire on, so I slept in a cold caravan and barely got any rest.

The site was very clean, lovely, and quiet, so comfortable that I had no complaints. The only issue was that it took a while to find the caravan; a map marking the caravan’s location at booking would have helped.

There was plenty of space and good facilities to use, but the TV and Wi‑Fi were down, the lamps didn’t work, the top door had a bad handle and lock, and the air‑tire was dirty and smelled like fish; it should have been scrubbed before use.
