“Something very special”

Thanks to our hosts for showing us this special part of Amsterdam; we fell in love with the area and loved sitting out in the evening to enjoy it all. The swimming was great, and the children loved using the paddle board. All the neighborhood restaurants were amazing, and a quick 10‑minute bus ride brought us to the central station. We couldn’t ask for more, thank you!

“A fabulous stay with locals in a beautiful city. We alI wouldn't have wanted to stay anywhere else!”

The location was fantastic, only 10 minutes by bike from the main railway station, yet we felt like locals because we were outside the main tourist area. We were lucky to be on the boat during hot weather, so it was great to cool off in the water when we got back. The apartment had many lovely details: fresh flowers on the table, tea bags, Nescafe coffee capsules, and cold drinks in the fridge. The host gave us some milk on the first night. It was a bit tight for four of us with the sofa bed extended (two adults and two teenage boys), but it was still worth it, and the deck felt like an extra room.

The truth is it was an experience to enjoy the boat, its location, and the views. We traveled with two kids, 7 and 9, and it was a wonderful adventure. The charming antitriones… even waved the Spanish flag in our honor.

Very clean, nicely appointed, very friendly, helpful hosts. They put up our country flag for our stay.

I had a lovely time in a modern suite with welcoming hosts in a quiet neighbourhood, and the transport options were good enough.
