It’s great that the hotel is accessible for people with mobility issues—pretty rare in Wendland! The staff were very friendly and the rooms tidy, so I’d come back. The entrance was a bit confusing: I drove onto the parking lot and tried to use the entrance there, but it was locked and I didn’t see a bell. I almost called to let them know, and then a lady came and opened the door for me.

The hotel was pretty nice overall, the staff (except for the owner) were eager and friendly, breakfast was good (as expected for a 4‑star), but the room was noisy. The owner treated us twice very unfriendly, there were no bike racks or a carport, even though Lüchow sits on several bike paths so that should be expected. We could only put our bikes in the courtyard, which had to be opened and closed each time we needed a bike, and since the hotel isn’t fully occupied that was awkward. We locked our bikes in the parking lot and were scolded immediately. When we moved them to the courtyard and tried to retrieve them, the owner again directed us rudely to his staff. He seemed to enjoy his job but didn’t understand the service issue.

Great location and a well‑varied breakfast, but the restaurant was closed.
