The house in the village center felt cozy, comfortable, and pretty. Everything was great. Alejandro was very attentive and friendly throughout, making us feel at ease, so we’d definitely come back. Everything went perfectly, nothing to add.

“A great base for a fantastic hiking trip!”

Casa Rural Carmita makes a solid base for a Gran Canaria hiking trip and is easy to reach by bus to Cruz de Tejeda and other trails. Alejandro even supplied hiking poles for my stay. When rain fell, I stayed warm and comfortable inside the apartment or heated up after a day’s walk—air‑con, heaters, and more were available. The place is well equipped for cooking, and a supermarket is just a 5‑minute walk away. The bedroom is cozy, quiet, and has nice dark blinds. Alejandro is welcoming, helpful, and ready with answers and suggestions. A few extra lamps would soften the lighting and make it even cozier.

“Descanso en un lugar fantástico”

I had a wonderful stay at this cozy house, which was perfectly situated and equipped with everything I needed. Sara, the host, was very friendly and provided me with useful information about the local services, and the wine bottle she left for me was a lovely touch. I was really happy with my stay, and everything went smoothly.
