The reception and service were truly excellent, and the setting was gorgeous. The location is too far from the city center; we didn’t rent a scooter this time, so every trip was by tuk‑tuk (cheap, but still). The pool access could use a little sprucing up.

The place was close enough to all the spots we wanted to visit, the rooms were cozy and quiet, and the restaurant served tasty food; the staff went above and beyond. I don’t usually watch TV in a hotel, but I had to keep hunting for channels, especially Thai news for my partner.

A beautiful spot inside a tropical garden with a stunning pool; it’s quiet and relaxing, especially if you head to Wat Yai Chaya Mongkol, which is worth the detour (about 1.6 km on foot). Nothing else to add.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the tropical garden was gorgeous, the breakfast was thoughtfully presented, and we stayed in a Thai‑Villa. It feels special to sleep in a building that’s over a hundred years old and built from tropical wood.
