The view of the mountains is wonderful and the place is completely quiet; the fireplace is the best we have ever had. The steep driveway is a challenge and you have to get used to it, and the house is very sound‑prone so when loud neighbors are next door, everything can be heard.

“Great location & pretty. It just wasn’t worth the money for us”

The rural setting and the spacious house with a nice garden. The owner seemed to have a bad attitude when we arrived because we didn’t speak Spanish or French. At arrival the kitchen sink was clogged with chunks of old food from previous guests, so during the whole stay we could barely use the sink as old food and water would come up, which was unpleasant and off‑putting. The whole house smelled of a strong, unpleasant food odor that lingered the entire stay; I’m not sure if it was from blocked drains or previous guests cooking. Dogs are not allowed upstairs – this should be stated in the description – we wouldn’t have chosen to stay if we knew our dog would be restricted; we were under the impression we were paying for dog‑friendly accommodation, so for the money you pay this is not worth it for us. There is a communal room attached to the main house, and when it’s in use it is noisy with slamming doors. The communal garden is shared with others, so it is not suitable if you want to let your dog roam without worrying about other dogs or people.
