“UNA NOTTE NEL DESERTO”

The setting in the middle of the desert, far from civilization, was evocative, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, and dinner featured a local tajine that was good. Our driver was truly delightful, and we paid 100€ to go to and from the camp, which was worth it. We missed the sunset on the dunes because it was cloudy, but we were rewarded with a wonderful starry sky and a beautiful sunrise.

“On se souviendra toujours de cette escapade dans le désert !”

We spent an amazing night under the Saharan stars; it was hot but the team suggested we set up outside, which was great! The dinner, the 4×4 driver, and the camel ride on the dunes at sunset were all wonderful moments shared with family, and the pre-arrangements with Yassine via WhatsApp were very well organized. However, we should plan something to keep children busy during the 5‑hour lunch break at the oasis, as we had a map and a nap in the shade, but it would be best to prepare more activities for kids.

Communication beforehand was excellent, everything was very well organized, extra service costs were transparently presented on a personal basis, and our requests were fully accommodated. We were the only guests at the camp, and under the full moon it was magical to sleep outside, a one‑of‑a‑kind experience. Dinner and breakfast were outstanding. The beds were very comfortable, and the camp itself is very remote, wonderfully quiet, with no generators or other noise. The drive took 2 hours but was already an experience in itself. We will definitely come back and can recommend it without reservation.

The camp is located in the dunes of the Erg Chigaga desert. We were the only guests in mid‑July. The food was very good. The tents were simple but clean and as described, as was the rest of the camp. We were offered the option to sleep under the stars, which we gladly accepted. You can go dune‑boarding or take a short camel trek into the desert – highly recommended. The hosts provided very good but unobtrusive care, a big plus. We arranged transport from Foum Zguid, a 3‑hour jeep ride through all kinds of desert terrain – an unforgettable impression. Big thanks to the hosts.

“Indimenticabile”

The chance to sleep outside the tents, under the stars, on hot August nights. The staff were extremely kind and eager to meet any request. The day‑to‑day desert itinerary was flawlessly organized, with camel rides at dawn and a visit to the sacred oasis led by the wonderful host Omar. Communal bathrooms were clean and easily usable at night. Our guides, Ahmed and Ahmed, were exceptional in showing us the desert’s wonders. An unforgettable experience and absolutely a must‑do.
