The spot is quiet with a direct view of the bay, and oddly the area was very sparsely populated and close to the city center water. That was fine for me, and the proximity to the port for going into the bay was perfect.

The hotel’s position works well for overnight cruises, the breakfast was nice, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We booked last minute and they were very accommodating of us arriving at 4am, which was amazing!!

We checked in at 4 am after a sleeper bus and the staff waited for us to get settled, which was awesome! The room was fantastic too!

The new building is great, the rooms are beautiful and the breakfast is excellent. It’s outside the town centre.

Breakfast overlooking Ha Long Bay was worth a shoutout, though the coffee was only mediocre at best – Vietnamese coffee could have been much better. The room was comfy and had all the usual amenities in good condition, so I’d definitely recommend it.
