We liked the location about 30 minutes from Bratislava. The town has shops and restaurants, so everything is easy to find. A plus is the parking on the property, though only four cars fit, so space is tight. The bathroom was clean. We had several problems. First, the owner’s reaction to a situation: shortly after arrival we found a bug that looked like a beetle in a ready glass. We took a photo and compared it online. We knew the property had many trees, so the insect could have come from outside. We called the owner, who came and brought clean glasses, did not examine the insect, said he didn’t know what it was, threw it out on the garden, and left without further comment. We were left stunned. The next day the owner sent a “sorry” text saying the previous evening’s insect was just a small beetle, normal because of the trees, and added that he once threw a centipede out of his apartment. After comparing photos, it was likely an outdoor beetle, but as we’re not experts, we trust you won’t find one in your room (see attached photo). Another issue: the mattress and walls were in poor condition. The walls have many cracks and the mattress is bad (photo attached). We don’t want to be the biggest complainants, but this is our experience. We won’t return. We’ve found much better accommodation for less money.
