The hotel is situated in a quiet and tidy area. The breakfasts are tasty and plentiful. The spa area is clean, with a really good sauna and pool. The TV shows Russian propaganda channels. The shower room leaves a puddle after a shower. Old carpets with cracks are in the bathroom.

Honestly, a letdown for a place that says it’s 5‑star. Check‑in was quick, the kids’ playroom is huge with plenty to do (though some games cost extra), and breakfast was decent despite limited choices. We booked half board, but the dining fell short. On the first night, dinner was very plain—only chicken wings and nuggets, with very few options. The second night improved slightly but still felt restrictive. Worse, the room was in bad shape: we found roaches, mold around the shower, and stray crumbs in the kids’ bedroom when we arrived. The carpet is stained and patched, and the furniture feels very old. This definitely isn’t a 5‑star experience.

“Not up to our usual standard”

We’ve stayed here before, but this time was disappointing. The hallway was noisy: guests talked loudly in the corridor at night. Others smoked by the main entrance at midnight, and with our windows open the smell drifted straight into the room. The bathroom sink drained very slowly, and the Wi‑Fi was unreliable all through. We hope management fixes these problems, as we’d like to return to the comfort we had on earlier visits.

The staff were excellent and the swimming pool along with other facilities were good.
