The biggest highlight of this guest‑house is the view of Lion Rock – absolutely incredible! The owners are very welcoming and attentive. The room is basic yet very comfortable. The food is excellent; breakfast and meals alike are very good. It’s a bit out of town, but that’s part of its charm and gives you that amazing view.

We enjoyed an outstanding stay at this hotel in Sigiriya. The room was lovely, offering a stunning view straight onto Sigiriya Rock, which was breathtaking in the morning. The owners are adorable, very welcoming, and always ready to help. We also tried the dinner, which we highly recommend: a delicious, homemade Sri Lankan meal that was truly excellent.

The hosts are genuinely lovely and attentive, and the outdoor shower and good meals are a plus. However, the property is somewhat far from Sigiriya Rock and the city, so it’s not very well connected. Having the shower and toilets outside was a mixed bag: the toilet water wasn’t very clean, the flush didn’t always work, and there were frogs in the toilet and sink. The Wi‑Fi didn’t work.
