I had a great time on this ship hotel. The spot is amazing and the area where the ship is docked is very quiet. Within a few minutes you’re right in the heart of Amsterdam or at the train station, which is only about ten minutes away. The staff are lovely, especially Rosi, who is also Spanish‑speaking, making the communication even warmer. Even though it’s a ship, it has everything you could possibly need. The beds are very comfortable, and the rooms come with heating and air conditioning. Breakfast is excellent and plentiful, served buffet‑style, perfect for starting the day with energy. On our last day we left our backpacks after check‑out because our flight was late in the afternoon; Rosi stored them for us and when we came to pick them up she was waiting. Overall, a very good experience. The stairs down to the lower deck are steep, like many ships, so it’s better to go with a backpack than a suitcase. The room and private bathroom have everything you need, but although everything is clean, the hotel is aging and the furniture needs a refresh. The windows in the room and bathroom are the typical small, high ones on this type of ship, so don’t expect a big window overlooking the canal.
