AL Hamra Heritage Inn

The setting is beautiful, though it needs a lot of improvement; the village is lovely but full of ruins and garbage. The inn was closed and opened for us, so there was no breakfast, no reception, and no assistance, yet the room and bathroom were very clean, though the beds and pillows were very simple and not very comfortable. The garbage left in the village and abandoned items could be cleaned up over a weekend of volunteers, and the area would improve; it’s truly beautiful and could be imagined after some work.

The heritage vibe was great, but the Wi‑Fi was weak inside the room.

The old house was charming, breakfast and dinner were excellent, and the roof terrace with a pool was great; parking can be difficult if the house is fully booked.

“Soggiorno tipico in casa omanita”

I stayed in a typical Omani house that's been refurbished, and it was a really cool experience. The dinner and breakfast were both super plentiful and tasted great, and the pool was a nice touch. The rooms were clean too, which was good to see. Overall, it was a solid stay.

Das Zimmer ist klein aber sehr speziell. Einmal etwas anderes. Die Frühstücksauswahl war eher spartanisch. Das Buffet zum Abendessen ist jeden Tag dasselbe und wird jeweils bereits abgekaltet geliefert
