Very good food, even if the service was a bit random. On a nice beach, but it rained all the time we were there. Good pool area. Friendly staff but communication tricky at times. The room was very basic, with the bed tucked under the eaves so only accessible from one side. No hot water. Kettle, but no mugs or drinks to make.

Beautiful location and far away from everything. Great views on the beach. Staff is very friendly and will do their best to accommodate as much as they possibly can, so we appreciate their help and generosity a lot! Food at the restaurant was really good! It’s very remote and hard to reach (tuk-tuk cannot climb up the hill, so we had to change from tuk-tuk to find people on scooters to take us both and the suitcase all the way there). The manager did not respond to my message when we tried to arrange transfers with them (we are grateful they gave us a free drive to the airport on the way back). They double-booked our room, leaving us in limbo for 1 h+, then kindly found us a room in the hotel eventually. I would advise double-checking with them before going all the way there to confirm they have received your booking just in case. As French/Australians, we were surprised they would not give us normal bedsheets (only raw blanket and mattress sheet). To be honest, we should have stayed on Boracay because there really isn’t anything to do in Tagosilangan if the weather isn’t absolutely perfect.

We stayed in Tagosilangan Beach House from October 27th to 30th, and we regret not staying there longer. Looking back at our entire trip in the Philippines, this was by far the best experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcome; the hosts were incredibly kind, helpful, and even organized our shuttle. What made this stay truly stand out was the atmosphere, the beautiful and well-kept surroundings, and especially the food. We spent 25 days traveling around different islands, and this was by far the best food we had during our entire trip; the meals were absolutely delicious. Even on rainy days, we enjoyed the pool, which has a lovely bar serving amazing cocktails. The staff were genuinely warm, always singing and in a great mood, which we absolutely loved. One of the staff even took us for a walk along the beach, where we witnessed a stunning sunrise and got a glimpse of local life. We will definitely be coming back, and we wholeheartedly recommend this place; it made our trip truly unforgettable.

Staff is great and went out of their way to make me feel at home. Food is great. There is awesome diving and the beach is big, the sand deep, and great for sprinting. The rooms are cozy. I did not alert the staff I was coming despite booking 24 hours before. No one knew I was checking in, so the security guard was very nice and helped me. When the staff showed up, they were apologetic.
