There was nothing positive to note; the lift was terrible, customer service was bad, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a good time in London, and they even tried to falsely accuse me of damaging their property.

I didn’t book breakfast, but the fridge in the room was handy and stayed quiet with no clunking on and off, and the bed and linens were very good; some fittings and fixtures were a bit shabby, and the small rooms and corridors get worn by suitcases.

The hotel sits in a great spot with easy access to public transport, and there are nice restaurants and cafés nearby. Early check‑in was offered, the staff were friendly, the breakfast selection varied, the rooms were very clean and well kept, and the beds were comfortable. The room was a basement level with a view into a cellar shaft, and at check‑out the front desk was empty so we had to wait almost 10 minutes.
