Meranerhof is an outstanding hotel, exuding quality. It’s well‑located in the city, the breakfast is dazzling, the staff are friendly and helpful. Dinner is a whole other story, so I definitely recommend half‑board. The only downside was a slight sewer smell in our bathroom.

The service was especially friendly and attentive, and everything was handled quickly and smoothly. Breakfast service is very well organised: the process is efficient, pleasant, and works great even during busy periods. Overall, the hotel feels very professional yet personal. The bed was a bit too soft for my taste, and because of the car traffic it was almost impossible to sleep with the window open at night; with the window closed, the noise level was fine.

Breakfast was good and met expectations. The location is ideal, the hotel is well run, and it has been in good hands for 60 years under the same family across three generations.
