The hallways always smelled like dust, and we couldn’t use the pool because it smelled like cigarettes or someone was smoking.

The room was comfortable, spacious, clean and the view from it was very pleasant, so I would definitely stay there again on my next visit to Ocala. Nothing at all was lacking; everything exceeded our expectations.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful, and the rooms were clean though small. The first morning’s breakfast was sparse—no eggs, no grits, and the cereal was stale; the second morning offered no meat, no eggs, nothing hot, only waffles.

Checking in and out was a breeze, and the location is great for a lot of town activities; the heated pool is easy to reach and the front desk staff are friendly, plus there are several amenities. However, early check‑in isn’t offered, the parking lot is tiny, the curtains are broken and can’t close fully, mildew stains the bathroom wall, and the breakfast staff were rude in the morning.
