THE ASHWOOD INN

“Very enjoyable and are planning on coming back next year. There were 10 of us and we had 3 rooms.”

We enjoyed the campfire and playing pool tables during the day, and the staff were fantastic—especially when they drove us to the party venue on Thursday night, which was a big help. The main living room felt pretty dark on both visits; a tall floor lamp in the corner would solve that, and the room also needs a garbage bin.

“The Ashwood in is a family-friendly home away from home in the Bayfield/Goderich area.”

We had a lovely stay at the Ashwood Inn in Bayfield. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our visit, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We also had a great meal at the on-site Bayfield Tandoori Bistro. The staff were warm and friendly, and the food was fresh, flavourful, and very enjoyable. Our family loft-style room was comfortable (especially with 5 of us travelling together), with beds that made for a good night’s sleep. The location was also very convenient—Bayfield Square is approximately 1 km away, and Goderich is only about a 20-minute drive. The saltwater pool was another highlight and a lovely way to relax during our stay. Overall, the Ashwood Inn was a comfortable and welcoming place to stay, and we would be happy to return. A little more seating in the room and/or table space would have added some extra comfort, particularly for a larger family group when having downtime (watching TV, playing games, etc.)

“Comfortable, convenient and easy.”

The place has a good location and the room was clean and comfortable. The TV streaming system was slow and not intuitive.
