20 m² · 1 sofa bed
The place was noisy because of the street, the sofa bed creaked, there were no windows, and the bathroom flooded.
“Nel cuore di Altamura .”
The spot is central. The room is small but cozy and clean. The building has no Wi‑Fi.
My stay at B&B Casa Tre Archi in Altamura turned out to be disappointing, mainly because the owners didn’t pay attention to guests when big problems arose. When we arrived, the owner didn’t answer calls and we were left outside in the rain. Inside, the bathroom was dark, the sofa bed squeaked loudly at night, and for the entire afternoon, evening, and night we had no hot water. Even after we tried to get help, the issue wasn’t fixed until the next morning, meaning we couldn’t use a basic shower. Another major inconvenience was the complete lack of connectivity inside the B&B: no internet, no phone signal, no Wi‑Fi. We were completely isolated and had to leave the property and stand on the street to make any calls or send messages. What annoyed me most wasn’t just the problem itself but the fact that no real acknowledgment of the inconvenience was offered. I wasn’t asking for a full refund, just a respectful gesture, a real apology, or some compensation. Finally, I want to mention the restaurant experience: the Valentine’s dinner was great in quality and quantity, but the venue was too crowded, tables were too close, and there was practically no privacy, which affected the atmosphere. However, the restaurant staff were very attentive. The point is that the restaurant treats guests very well, whereas the B&B’s attention is noticeably lower. The difference is clear. This is an honest negative review: problems happen, but what matters is how they’re handled. In this case, the care for the guest—both humanly and professionally—was completely absent.
