The owner was off‑site at night and the other guests were quiet, so there was almost no conversation or noise. The detached building accessed by a door lock had a toilet only on the second floor, while showers and sinks were only on the third floor, and there was no mirror in each room, which was inconvenient. The air‑conditioning unit mounted on the window worked, but rain seeped through gaps, forming puddles and the sound of rain was loud. Even though the rules for folding sheets and throwing away trash were detailed, the previous guest hadn’t finished cleaning, so garbage was left behind and it felt unclean.

The staff were very friendly, dinner and breakfast were delicious. The pillow was very uncomfortable.

The room was clean. The free dinner and breakfast were very tasty. Because it’s a guesthouse, sound carries. Also, being on a road, you hear cars and trams. The sound of doors opening and walking down the hallway is audible, but earplugs were provided in the room, so it wasn’t too bad.

A musical power couple that makes you feel at home. They serve curry every evening, the best bread I’ve had for breakfast on my travels so far, and offer bicycle rental. The place to stay in Kochi. It isn’t in the center of Kochi, but that is not a big problem – 10‑15 min by train, tram or bicycle.
