The location is stunningly beautiful and peaceful—a quiet refuge on the Camino. The garden herbs smell amazing, the food is fresh, and the staff are accommodating and lovely. We’ll return even if we don’t take another Camino; it’s one of the most serene and best hotel stays ever.

Free laundry and the beds and pillows were very nice. However, the reception lobby felt unwelcoming, and we were assigned a smaller room next to a maintenance area. Communication between the front desk and kitchen staff was almost non-existent, even horrible. We were paired with a tour group for dinner, and when the kitchen staff gave us a table, the tour guides accused us of taking their reserved spot. The kitchen staff had to confirm our room number to verify payment. I paid over four hundred dollars from the room for dinner and breakfast. By morning, all staff apologized, but that didn't fix the ruined expensive evening caused by poor communication.
