The room and the price do not match the photos and descriptions at all. The room is so small that I couldn’t even open the suitcase. The staff is almost entirely absent. The rooms are extremely noisy and shabby, and the alarm goes off every time someone passes by. The bed is completely collapsed, like a hammock. Dust in the wardrobes. The room door is “open” with a broken lock. The shower water comes out in a sparkling spray.

Arriving in my room, I immediately spotted two black hairs on the pillow and dirty windows; in the bathroom there were fresh brown stains right on the toilet seat, so I sent an SMS to the contact number and asked the person handling the self‑check‑in to come and inspect the room, but he ignored my message. I tried to lower the blinds, but they wouldn’t move, and the lower curtain was torn; luckily I didn’t need to wash my hair because I’d just finished a cut and style at the salon, otherwise my wet hair would have stayed damp while trying to add volume with the phone, which didn’t work. I slept very little because morning light and afternoon light came in, and there was no breakfast or even a coffee. I didn’t like anything, even the luxurious décor; dust and brown damp stains on the toilet seat, black hairs on the pillows, and the worst thing was the floor.

The location was great, close to the Vatican City. People entered our room after we left and it wasn’t cleaned; they turned off the AC, which wasn’t enough. The breakfast we paid for was just coffee and an old, hard croissant and cookies that looked stale, so I could have gotten better for less money.

The location was great, near bus, metro and small 24‑hour shops for groceries, and it felt like a safe neighbourhood. The water wasn’t always warm and the breakfast was poor.

The instructions to access the property were very clear, and check‑in and check‑out were quick and easy. The location is really excellent, very convenient for walking to the main sites, and very quiet. The room was comfortable with all the comforts, and they brought breakfast to the room at a scheduled time. Overall a great experience. The only flaw was that the bathroom needed renovation, but it was still very clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay.
