We began our Bodensee cycling tour in Lochau and the Gästehaus Bernhard was very helpful with parking; we will stay there again on the last day. It’s a pity that the wine tavern no longer exists, but we could see how cozy it was during breakfast.

The welcome was really warm and the owners went out of their way to help. The old house itself is a bit older but has been beautifully restored and kept tidy. We were given a room in the new extension, which was just the right size for one or two nights. Breakfast is served in the wine tavern with a small buffet of fruit and yogurt, and the rest comes on a plate. We were there for the festival and we’ll definitely come back.

The hosts were super friendly and always ready to help with whatever we needed. We were able to leave our cars in the courtyard until we got back from our bike trip. Drinks were available around the clock.

The couple running the place is very pleasant – you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. The rooms are lovely and spotless. We’d book this guesthouse again anytime.

Breakfast was good, and the hosts were friendly and accommodating. The location is perfect for visiting the Bregenz Festival and also a great starting point for the Lake Constance Königssee bike trail.
