We had an unforgettable stay at the hotel, especially thanks to the hosts' hospitality; it felt like visiting distant relatives, with care and attention from the moment we arrived. The onsen was amazing, and the view of Mount Fuji from our room was priceless.

The staff were incredible, going out of their way to make our stay comfortable. They arranged drop‑off and breakfast according to our plans and explained all the do‑things and don’ts for the onsen and Japanese‑style rooms. When my daughter was unwell, the host offered drinkable yoghurt to help her feel better. The host even found us on our return bus journey to hand over my pyjamas that I had left behind at checkout—who does that in real life? The breakfast and the views of Mt Fuji from our window were icing on the cake. Overall, we loved every part of our experience. The only downside was that there were no bath facilities other than the common hot spring onsen, which can be a bit of an adjustment, especially with kids, but a dip in the onsen leaves you feeling thoughtfully relaxed.

The location and breakfast were good, but the hotel feels very old and seems far too expensive for the level of service.

Fantastischer Ausblick von unserem Zimmer auf den Mt. Fuji. Geräumiges Zimmer. Sehr sauber. Ruhiges Hotel. Absolute Herzlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der Gastgeber Haru & Masa. Wir wurden kostenfrei mit dem Hotelshuttle an der Kawaguchiko Station abgeholt, sie haben uns ein Taxi zur Pagode bestellt, für unseren Ausflug Kaffee mitgegeben und am Abreisetag Snacks und Wasser überreicht. Gepäck von unserem Hotel in Tokyo kam auch an und das Gepäck wartete im Zimmer bereits auf uns. Es gab eine ausführliche Erklärung zu den Onsen und uns wurde alles freundlich gezeigt. Wir haben uns absolut wohlgefühlt, kamen überall gut hin und würden wiederkommen. Für uns kein Problem, aber eventuell wichtig zu wissen: wir haben keinen Aufzug gesehen

The service was exceptional and the facilities were very clean. Breakfast was excellent and varied each day. It’s located next to Lake Kawaguchiko and within walking distance of several bus stops. The staff gave you a map of the area with restaurants and bus stops, plus information about sightseeing buses that do a great job of transporting you from place to place. Overall, a fantastic stay and I would definitely stay again.
