The place sits just 350 feet from the Cathedral, yet the bedbug nightmare made it a total disaster—four of us in a six‑bed room were bitten, the girl next to me saw a full adult bedbug on her pillow, and a woman downstairs showed me her own bites. The infestation spans multiple floors, proving the hostel’s neglect. The staff were rude and unsympathetic, refusing a refund even though all six girls had to spend the night in the kitchen; two slept on the kitchen floor and one on a stairwell landing, and we were still charged. Absolutely unbelievable.

The hostel’s location was convenient, but the entire place was infested with bedbugs. The heavy quilts on the beds were never washed. Six of us girls shared a room, and at about 11:30 one woke up screaming with bedbugs all over her pillow. We turned on the light and saw them everywhere, even biting my whole abdomen. Another girl had allergic welts all over her body. They were in the kitchen too. The owner blamed us for bringing them in and wouldn’t refund us, even though we couldn’t stay in the room and had to spend the night in the kitchen to avoid the investigation. There were hotels available in the city, but the management’s lack of cleanliness made the place uninhabitable unless you’re okay with bedbugs.
