The location was nice, very quiet, and the breakfast was great! The bathroom was very basic and not convenient for showering. The bed was decent, but the sheets kept shifting. The towels were awful—microfiber or something, you can’t dry them properly.

The bungalows were comfortable, charming, and rustic, with all the basic amenities. The father‑daughter hosts were amazing and friendly. It’s close to Ao Salad pier in the forested interior; for the nearest beach you might need to rent a car or motorcycle. In theory you could walk to the nearest beach in 20 minutes, but the hot, humid weather and some inclines make it tough. It’s rustic and in the forest (by the main road), so you get the usual weather and age‑related wear and tear. The rooms are clean and all the basic amenities are there. Hosts could be a bit more proactive in offering breakfast; unless you ask, you’ll only get cookies and coffee/tea. We were able to cook some eggs in the kitchen and some pineapple, but we had to ask what’s available.

The hotel's location was perfect, and the breakfast was absolutely massive - I mean, I've never seen so many options in one place. The owner was also super friendly and welcoming, which made a big difference. However, there was one thing that really bugged me: the toilet paper was not microfiber, which seems like a pretty basic thing to get right. Still, the pros definitely outweighed the cons, and I'd definitely stay here again.
