Abdellah and his family were hospitable. They offered us dinner even though we arrived late at 22:30 on a last‑minute reservation. Breakfast was excellent and very complete; Abdellah also took time to chat with us and show us his little Berber museum. Though our stay was short, we left with new knowledge about the local people. If you stay longer, Abdellah can arrange excursions to explore the area. You can take a hot shower even though the bathroom is basic. The access can be tricky if you come via Ouzoud; rely on Waze instead of Google Maps and go around via Beni Mellal.

If you’re after an authentic rural life experience, this is the spot. The family and host were super friendly and invited me to dinner, which was a very positive experience. Abdellah is also a great farmer growing herbs and vegetables, so you can buy quality products like saffron depending on the season. Breakfast outside was a great bonus, and the warm tea was heartwarming. There are plenty of hiking routes and a fantastic waterfall nearby. 100% recommend visiting. I just came early and couldn’t try more of it! 🤗
