Den Nest Hostel KRABI

I strongly recommend this hostel to everyone. It’s a lovely, friendly, and peaceful place. Fox and Moon make the hostel inviting; Moon cooks every day and shares her dishes with genuine enthusiasm, while Fox is a charming companion who’s up for a bit of fun and a party outside. The rooms are well designed, each with a large locker that can even fit a suitcase, a light, sockets, a fan, and storage space. The mattress was the best I’ve slept on in six months in Thailand. Both the rooms and the kitchen were clean, so there’s nothing to complain about. Thank you for a great time. :)

“Not good no AC at all”

After booking, they told me it was only for girls and the guy demanded extra money for a room; we were too late to find another option, yet we saw many guys in the hostel—just a case of people taking advantage of the situation.

I hesitated to book because of the low rating, but it turned out to be a decent spot, so I even booked more days; the rooms are fine, only meant for four people, the bathroom is good, and the location is quiet, away from downtown noise, with friendly staff. They say check‑in is at 3 pm, but it’s actually at 4 pm, and you need to be careful with the table where you can place your belongings—it's close to your face and you could hit it if you’re dark when you get up.

The staff were rude from the start; we arrived two hours before check‑in to drop off our luggage and they didn’t even greet us. They also didn’t mention that motorcycle rentals were available, which is far from downtown, so we lost at least an hour trying to find a place to rent one. On the first day it seemed like the manager was cleaning, but everything was somewhat messy—not chaotic, but the kitchen was always dirty. On top of that, there was only one common key to share, and one day it wasn’t in the locker, so I had to ask another guest to open the door for me because the owners or managers didn’t answer my calls. They never responded, I left, and never saw them again. My friend also cut his forehead on the bed shelf and there was no first aid kit to clean the wound. In short, the place could have been fine if not for the rude people in charge.
