The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was close to all amenities. One lift was out of service, parking was unavailable and I had to go offsite at an extra cost.

The location was good. Water drained from the bath, then rose up the drain onto the bathroom floor and spread everywhere. The room wasn’t serviced for the two‑night stay; I had to call for more towels. There wasn’t enough milk for three people over two nights. The double bed was actually two single beds zipped together and kept falling into the middle gap, so neither bed was comfortable at all.

The staff were helpful and friendly, and the rooms were a good size and clean. The windows outside needed a good clean. Parking was limited because the top‑level carpark wasn’t usable. During the Oct long weekend the pub and McDonald’s across the road were packed with people until the early hours of the morning.
