The location is very central; the restaurant, shopping, and Münster are all within walking distance. Reception was friendly and helpful. The room—complete with a balcony—was cozy and very clean, and there is a refrigerator. Parking is available, best to reserve in advance. Breakfast was offered, but we didn’t use it because of time constraints. We’ve stayed at this hotel for years before moving on to Italy. Nothing else comes to mind.

The place was comfortable and in a decent location, but it was hard to locate on GPS and maps. The internet was difficult to use. The drop key didn’t work, but someone arrived quickly and fixed it. The elevator wasn’t functioning properly, though it’s being repaired. We managed to carry our luggage up, but others might struggle. We were glad to have a parking space.

The location was perfect for us because we had appointments at the University of Freiburg, but it would have been nicer if a shower had been installed instead of a bathtub.
