We got robbed by the evening receptionist - he asked for a deposit after we'd already paid for the room. This old guy with grey hair shows up, supposedly to translate, and things get weird. First, they ask for 65,000 rp, I hand over 100,000 rp, and then they confer and the old guy demands 200,000 rp - more than the room itself! He apologizes, says it's actually 250,000 rp, and promises it'll be refunded at check-out. I pay up, and they both chuckle.
