Excellent location. The lodge faces Ponta Negra beach, with many restaurants, bars, and travel agencies nearby. You can reach Morro do Careca (this part of the beach is calmer for swimming) in a 5‑minute walk. The staff are extremely friendly and very efficient at cleaning the rooms. The room has a balcony with chairs, facing the sea. It’s very comfortable and pleasant to watch the view and hear the sounds from the beach. The bathroom is a bit cramped; the bath towels could be of better quality, and there’s a mobility alert. People with mobility difficulties should request rooms on the 1st floor, as the stairs can be a challenge. A suggestion for the lodge managers would be to block the light passage over the room door. At night, the hallway lights spill into the room. Using motion sensors could also help save energy, as the lights wouldn’t need to stay on all the time.

Receptionists were kind and friendly, the room was spacious, the bed was wonderful, the TV, the bathroom was perfect too, a wardrobe that fit my stuff and my husband’s, a mini‑fridge, AC, and a table. The entry corridor to the lodge had no cover, and I was there during rain, so I had to run up the stairs with a risk of slipping while carrying all the rainwater!

A cozy, simple spot with daily room cleaning, great location, and staff who are very polite and friendly; the night security guard is especially helpful and amiable. I loved the stay and have nothing to complain about.
