I had a fantastic time at Kingmaker’s Plantation, enveloped by gorgeous greenery and tranquil nature; the place was spotless, well-kept, and ideal for unwinding, and the staff were warm, friendly, and superb; the Chinese dishes were mouth‑watering, fresh, and bursting with flavor, all cooked to perfection and served hot; overall, a stellar experience that I’d strongly recommend to families and couples.

“Please improve cleanliness of the place!”

The restaurant staff were friendly and the place was in a good spot, yet the rooms were filthy and poorly maintained. We had to cut our stay because everything was so dirty; the room we had booked was unavailable due to renovation. The ground‑floor room was damp, the sofa stained with cockroaches underneath, the deluxe room walls covered in grime, and the bed runner stained with vomit or diaper mess from a previous guest. None of the rooms matched the pictures in the listing.

“Good place to stay close to Madikkery.. No water stream during the rainy seasons”

The property was reachable from Madikkery town, the room we received was clean and well kept, and the staff available to help us were very helpful. However, the river stream that was supposed to be a highlight was not available, the property needs a bit more upkeep and maintenance, there are some works going on, and the breakfast offered was average.
