This is a charming place to stay; Nadine was super helpful and very friendly, preparing a lovely breakfast with jam made from figs grown in the garden. It was very peaceful, and I would love to return ❤️

The welcome was warm, the house had character, the breakfast was hearty and suitable, the shared kitchen was convenient, and the local advice was useful. Nothing to add.

I really enjoyed the garden breakfast—it was wonderful, with birds coming to feed their chicks in the façade holes. The beautiful Charentais stones of the house are stunning.

The host was very friendly and the garden‑set breakfast was superb on a sunny morning; they also made us a takeaway breakfast the next day because we had an early start heading back. I’ll come back because the location is good for visiting family.
