This stay was excellent! The room is really clean and they clean it every two or three days, the staff is really friendly and responsive (we needed help and they assisted us a lot). The kitchen inside the room is nice and a good addition, and there is a big shared fridge in a separate room which is also really good. The bathroom is also nice and clean. Overall, the whole room felt good and much newer compared to other places we stayed in Sri Lanka. We had planned to change to another city, but when we arrived and saw the accommodation there we changed our mind and came back to “South Soul.” Every coastal city is generally close with tuk‑tuk or a crazy bus; we even went to a secret beach from here with the hotel owner who gave us a really good price 👍🏻

Excellent option for accommodation! The beach is very close, all facilities are nearby, and the owner is simply incredible—always helped us with everything, organized tours, and treated us to local yogurt (very tasty). We knew he would help us with any question.

We were a bit nervous because there weren’t many reviews, but we checked out the room in person before booking and it looked just like the pictures! We booked on the spot and the room has been a dream. It’s super clean, brand new, and the kitchen is fully equipped. The shower has really hot water! The owner and the property manager are kind and helpful. I couldn’t recommend staying here enough! Also it’s in a fantastic location.

The accommodation is clearly newly built — spacious, modern, simply but very nicely and functionally furnished. High-quality furniture, a very comfortable bed, and spotlessly clean throughout. There is a well-equipped kitchen (which we didn’t use), as the local breakfasts were excellent both in taste and portion size and were served on our private terrace. The location is perfect — quiet and peaceful, about a 5-minute walk to the nearest beach. The main beach and city center are around 15 minutes on foot or just 5 minutes by tuk-tuk. The hotel manager was extremely helpful, providing useful information, offering trips, and arranging transportation around the city. He was always quick to pick us up when needed, and at the end of our stay he arranged a transfer to our next accommodation in a luxury van
