“Melhor escolha”

Muito bem localizado, há 10 minutos a pé de um H-E-B, então, não tivemos a menor preocupação com refeições! Ambiente super silencioso e climatizado, acomodações muito confortáveis e cozinha à disposição. Não nos faltou nada em estrutura! Café da manhã suficiente e com anfitriãs prestativas. Toda a equipe que assessora a Lisa é muito bacana!. Senti falta (só um pouquinho) de café bem quente, como estou acostumada no Brasil. De resto, tudo excelente!

“Warm, personal, welcoming and a lovely place to stay in Houston”

Lisa was an amazing host, and we were lucky to arrive on a Tuesday night and join her local friends for a shared dinner – a real treat. We later hit a karaoke bar and enjoyed great conversations and local flair. The spot was excellent, just a stone’s throw from the Menil Collection, and nearby Thai massage, martinis, tacos, and nail salons were all within reach. The main drawback was spending hours at night trying to get the washing machine to work, with no one around to help. I was unlucky because Lisa had left for her holiday the next day and no alternate contact was listed. As a solo female traveler, I felt quite vulnerable. I ended up sleeping the second night with the lights on, suddenly aware I was far from home with no one else nearby. A clear backup contact for international guests without a U.S. phone when the host is away would make a huge difference.

“Great community, great setup, welcoming stay.............A real bed and breakfast experience!!”

Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of simple but tasty options, and the house group was very welcoming. The modern setup consists of 4/5 separate adjoining townhouse‑style houses, which is very convenient. Lisa has built a beautiful community with neighbors who host a weekly dinner in the house, and everyone feels invited. We had a blast meeting everyone and felt truly welcome. Highly recommend staying here if you’re passing through. The only thing I forgot to tell Lisa was that I couldn’t figure out how to lock the balcony door of the room I stayed in; it was a high balcony, so no major security concern, but it might be for others.
