SEE‑Hotel Seeschau sits directly on the Bodensee shoreline in Reichenau, offering lake views from sound‑proofed rooms with private bathrooms, balconies, Wi‑Fi, flat‑screen TVs and work desks. The family‑friendly restaurant serves Turkish, German, local, international and BBQ dishes, plus cheese‑and‑fruit breakfast, high tea and cocktails. Monastic Island is a 15‑minute walk; Konstanz station lies 12 km away; boating and cycling are nearby.

The location is the best part of the entire hotel, but the overall service was shockingly unreliable and unsatisfactory; insects in the bed and old sausage packages in the fridge sealed a poor first impression.

Location is excellent, yet the hotel shows signs of renovation deficits.

Nice location right by the lake at the boat dock, comfortable and clean beds, convenient check‑in/out times, welcoming reception, free e‑bike storage with charging station, and a large bathtub for two; however, the bathroom was especially dirty, and the quality of meat, cheese, and bread at breakfast was poor.

The breakfast was excellent, providing everything needed without feeling overloaded; a selection of 50 items is unnecessary. The location was fantastic, and I really liked the vibe of the recent interior design. The bathroom is amazing, all in beige marble. I’ll definitely return.

I had a perfect stay, nothing to complain about.
