“Very nicely appointed and decorated hotel in excellent central location, friendly and helpful staff”
Central location just off the Petit Sacco, elegantly appointed and decorated entrance, lobby, dining room and guest room. Welcome mint tea and cookie. Glass elevator. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Excellent tour guide arranged by hotel. Interesting and flavorful food in dining room. Friendly and helpful servers in dining room. Punctual transportation to ferry. Comfortable bed. The room decorations were very plain and didn’t match the public spaces. There was no chair in the room. The shower was slippery and needed an anti‑slip mat or grab bars.

Location and room cleanliness were good. The building’s architecture was nice. Breakfast was very weak, with many artificial items instead of homemade. It didn’t match what I had experienced in other hotels/riads in Morocco. Some food seemed to be from the previous day, like the cheese that looked bad. The staff were not hospitable. When we arrived they gave us the room key and explained nothing about the hotel or breakfast times. I asked for a bandage because I had a foot injury and they said they were out of stock; they promised to get one but never did. The common corridors in the rooms had a bad odor when we arrived at night. A pity, because this hotel had everything to be superb given its location and interior beauty.

In the heart of the medina, this charming hotel stands out with its antique décor, art pieces, peaceful atmosphere, decorative plants, and lovely terraces offering panoramic views. The welcome was charming, and the staff were courteous and professional. The food quality in the restaurants was excellent, and the common areas were clean and scented with pleasant fragrances. The only downside was that the price was a bit too high.
