Everything was great: the room was spotless with a window, the air conditioning worked well, and the bed was very comfortable; you can order a delicious à la carte meal, and the staff are very attentive, even offering coffee whenever possible. The owners host many activities at the sanctuary, and their son is a guide with a wide range of services. The whole hotel is eco‑friendly, with Wi‑Fi, parking, TV, and a private bathroom in every room. The shower is refreshing and the hotel’s charm makes you feel at home. What I liked most is that they accept cash, transfers, and the best – debit or credit cards, which is handy since getting cash in the destination is tough.

The location is very good and peaceful, and the room feels like a family house. The flamingos are beautiful. It’s expensive, and the owners seemed annoyed by hosting high‑discount guests, even blocking my account so I couldn’t book again. The room is very simple, and stepping out of the room takes you into the house’s living area. The roof is metal, there’s no ceiling, and it gets very hot in the morning. The mattress is hard, and there are no pictures on the walls. No hot water and the shower is just a pipe. For what they charge, they should invest more in the rooms. I do not recommend going to the beach because you’ll encounter men who harass you with offers, which is very unpleasant and scary. On the road, men on motorcycles chase you with guided tour offers. I left very frightened and would never return. The flamingos are nice, but it’s better to join a group from another city and avoid staying in that area because the vibe is harsh.

The rooms are in a family house that listened perfectly to us. You can book a guide directly with them to see the flamingos, and find transport. Restaurants and grocery stores are nearby. Maybe the quality of the small mattresses is an issue, but it’s really just a little chipoté.
