Everything was well thought out, with beautiful décor in the old stone. The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Nothing to add.

The location, the charm of the place, and the room décor were great. The service was minimalistic, the “autonomous” reception (key‑box) gave no advice, the room wasn’t ready between the first and second nights, and parking was impossible on Monday evening at the main parking lot at the Grignan entrance (we weren’t warned: our car was blocked the next morning with a ticket!).

The location was very good and the room was clean and spacious. First, I sent a message to the hotel to inform them of our arrival time and to book for the same evening and the next day, but I received no reply after three or four days. On the day, we arrived at 15:00, when someone from the hotel was supposed to be there, but there was no one and we couldn’t check in. We called the emergency number, and fortunately the shopkeeper came to pick us up, give us the keys, and explain everything, which helped a lot. Then, when we said we wanted to dine at the hotel, we were told we would receive a message and that we had to wait for confirmation. In the end, we received nothing. We still managed to dine, but the main dish was far too salty. As for breakfast, there were no eggs, no yogurt, no fruit; only salami, cheese, fruit juice, and a hot drink (coffee or tea). The room was very spacious, clean, and entirely satisfactory. However, we were disappointed by the lack of reception upon arrival and by the meals. It’s a shame.
