The service was good and the rooms comfortable in a nice spot. The toilet was a bit awkward in the bathroom, but otherwise the room was fine.

The place is quiet and very tidy, though it could use a bit of updating; breakfast was fine 🙂. The sound insulation is poor and you can hear the neighbour’s life.

The bed in my room was comfortable, a pleasant surprise. The restaurant was closed when I arrived, though I was told it normally opens; I wish that had been mentioned when the hotel confirmed my booking by text the same day, as the on‑site restaurant was a major reason I drove a long way. The hotel is worn but clean; the bathroom in my room definitely needs an upgrade. My room was next to the door used when reception is closed, and it shut early afternoon – that door is very loud, so the free earplugs at reception were handy.

The breakfast was pretty good, and the staff were friendly. The building was a normal old wooden structure that probably needs a little renovation, and the plumbing noises were fairly loud.

The place felt like home, and the sauna was a pleasant surprise. Everything else was fine.
