Strawberry Park Resort

“Good location for a getaway. Suitable for families as they have large family suites.”

Perched on a hill with a valley view, it offered a quiet retreat away from crowds, plus several restaurants inside the resort. It was on the pricier side, but the pool was a bonus for our three boys, and the bed was very comfortable. The property felt slightly dated.

The room was huge, the balcony was nice, and the Wi‑Fi worked well. The food, however, didn't impress us as Westerners, and some items we wanted to order weren't available.

The rooms were spacious but bland and austere; the buffet was very disappointing and breakfast even worse. We arrived during a busy season while the hotel was under renovation, so the bar was closed and the lobby (awful!) was the only spot to grab a drink. The pool area didn't inspire us to go in at all. Overall, except for the room view, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Getting a taxi to the city for dinner (to avoid the hotel buffet) was a hassle.

“Très grand hôtel situé en pleine nature, mais un peu vieillot”

The hotel is surrounded by lush jungle and the room is very large. The building feels old and remote, and the breakfast and restaurants are not good.

“Finger weg. Für diesen Preis bekommt man deutlich bessere Unterkünfte.”

The staff were friendly. The room smelled musty, mold was everywhere, and the sheets were damp. The restaurant was dirty throughout. We didn't stay the night and immediately looked for another place.
