The setting was dreamlike and the owners were super nice, but the room wasn’t as clean as expected and the staff seemed a bit annoyed or bored.

The accommodation was beautiful with a great terrace for dinner, the waterhole was awesome, and the game drive was fantastic – I highly recommend it!

The property is gorgeous, set inside a huge private reserve where you can meet white rhinos and other hard‑to‑spot wildlife, and the lodge itself is beautiful with extremely friendly owners and a good dinner, but the lodges are only reachable on foot or by a small cart, the car has to be parked far away and is hard to get to at night, so bring everything you need with you; I’m writing this while waiting for the cart to collect my luggage after already posting three reviews, now I’m walking down, and although the price isn’t cheap, the place clearly has high running costs.

Everything was flawless—the view, the location, the gorgeous rooms and the comfy beds. The staff were outstanding, the place spotless, and the cherry on top were the animals coming to drink and the 14‑year‑old giraffe mascot Oubaas strolling through the hotel corridors.
